My name is Katie, and I am here to talk briefly about my experiences with online marketing through blogging. For any of you looking to start your own online income stream, my advice is to listen to what Im going to say. I’m a simple person, and I dont make hyped up claims or misleading statements. These are the methods I use to make money, not anyone else’s.
Now as I said, I’m a stay at home mom. I live at home and no longer have the luxury of a dayjob. So after giving birth to my son, I began my venture into online marketing. Like many people, I dove into Affiliate marketing, as it is a great way to make money and has a pretty low learning curve. I’m not a marketing genius, so I wasnt going to put time and effort into something I had no skills at. Simple is safe, and I live by this saying.
Despite what you may here out there, making money on the Internet isnt hard like many tell you. There will be people out there who do everything in their power to convince you that creating an online business is a complex task, and that in order to do it you will need to buy their product. The product usually costs in the thousands. Dont fall for schemes like this. If you can read, then you can learn, and eventually make money. Period.
So I jumped into blogging as a form of income after reading a few stories about other people who had made thousands, if not millions of simple blogs. Now I dont have to tell you what goes through a persons mind when reading a story like this. You want a piece of the action, and rightly you should. Blogging is a profitable market, especially with the huge wave of social networks like facebook and youtube. People want information, and furthermore, they want YOUR opinion.
