Not just for the search engines but for your readers too.

ComLuv displays the title of your last blog post, so the more eye catching it is the better. Dress it up the best you can. Let’s face it, no one is going to be interested in a blog post title that makes train spotting or bird watching sound interesting, are they!

What you need to remember is that even without using CommentLuv, it is highly likely that your post will appear in the search engine results as well as on other sites, when the author links back to you, with your title as the anchor text and on a range of popular social media sites such as Twitter. This happens on automation every time your content is pulled in from
your RSS Feed. So just remember that merely filling your title with keywords, isn’t enough to attract high volumes of targeted traffic. You need to think of the reader as well.

So How Do We Create Traffic Sucking Blog Post Titles?

Firstly, always make your posts about them, not you. The only time people are likely to read your content is when there is something in it for them. Where possible use the magic word YOU. It’s a known fact that people love talking about themselves, so give your readers what they want and focus your blog posts around them. It works every time!

Secondly, evoke your readers with the use of popular prime words.

Here’s some of the more effective ones to get you off to a good start…

2, Free   – everyone loves something for free
3, Secret – Curiosity is one of mankind’s greatest weaknesses
4, Simple – Again anything that claims to make life easier will catch attention
5, Fast   – People are always looking for a quick solution, especially to their problems

And thirdly, whenever a potential reader comes across your content on the web and they see a title that promises to meet their needs, it’s almost guaranteed that they will then click that blog post title to read on. So if you can somehow Identify the needs of your target readers and give them what they are looking for, then you can’t go wrong!

It’s as simple as that!

And as long as your blog post title is eye catching and attention grabbing, with relevant content, then there’s very little risk of receiving any negative feedback too.
